Hola Antonio — Press kit
Hola Antonio is a Spanish friend on WhatsApp for people visiting Spain. His name is Antonio: a 59-year-old waiter from Triana, Sevilla — an AI with a carefully built personality — who tells visitors where locals actually eat, what is on in town today, and stays with them at 4 am if something goes wrong. Free for the traveller, no app, six languages.

Open holaantonio.com and tap the button: it opens a WhatsApp chat with the real Antonio. Ask him where to have dinner tonight in Madrid, or what to do if you lost your wallet. Two minutes tells you more than any deck.
How it works
- WhatsApp only — no app, no sign-up. Built on the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and Anthropic's Claude models.
- Every concrete place Antonio names is verified live (open now, real address) before he says it. His biography is fiction; facts about the real world are sacred.
- Speaks English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, and answers at any hour.
- If a traveller is in trouble — lost documents, 4 am emergencies — Antonio slows down, walks them through the steps (cards, police report, 112) and stays in the conversation.
Two editorial rules we don't break
Nobody pays to be recommended. No restaurant, bar or venue can buy a mention. Revenue comes from voluntary tips and disclosed booking commissions (tours, events, eSIM, insurance) — never from places to eat.
The traveller's profile is never summarised away. What a traveller tells Antonio is stored for them, deleted on request, and never sold. GDPR-compliant, with plain-language privacy in six languages.
Company
Hola Antonio is built by Hekima Labs S.L., an independent studio in Madrid, founded by Javier Corbo. It launched in August 2026, starting with travellers in Madrid and Sevilla.
